Hello Team:
Please watch this video
http://youtu.be/onFm0wVhHbs
It explains the #ACTIONBUCKETSHED option -- which I believe will make your course planning a lot quicker and easier. It will save you time.
I also think that it will make it easier for teachers -- even those that don't work at the same school -- to collaborate.

#SAMPLELESSONS
Just letting everybody know that I have gone through and selected a bunch of lessons that people have listed and put them into the #SAMPLELESSONS list so that people that might still be perplexed at he "TAWBEC" format, can get some clearer sense of what that documentation might look like.
BTW, Using that this trick of using #move with items in different parts of the list to more easily drag stuff into other lists worked great for this. Here's a YouTube that explains how: http://youtu.be/o8fgVxXIFys

We're Rolling!
RECIPIENTS: Each of the Peer Review Group Blogs, and The Shared GPOC, Peer Reviewer, and Curator Workspaces
So far so good. I see bumpiness, but I'd have been LOOPY to imagine that wouldn't be the case. I'm mostly peeking around right now to see that everybody understands how this works.
As I mentioned to some of you, I resisted giving an example of a real lesson planning situation (opting instead for the moon-landing template, you have all been tortured with) because I didn't want to give the impression that I am advocating for a PARTICULAR teaching style, but I got enough comments on the goofiness of the moon-landing template so that I decided to cave and add an example of what a real lesson plan might look like (this link -- https://workflowy.com/shared/1b70b3fc-1e22-0b11-f0d8-2ced03f437fb/ -- will allow you to view that if you want). So now of course, people are starting to ask if I require that you teach the present perfect. NO! Well ... maybe. But that's not the point. It's just an example. I am going to find another example from amongst the lesson plans that you all are writing now, and post those inside that same list.
Thanks to everyone for being patient with my shuffling the Groups around at the last minute -- just want to get everybody situated into the roles that are right for them, and make sure the mix of each Group is right.
This is going to be a lot of trying and adapting and trying again. I tried to get all the major changes to the Groups and the Roles over and done with before the semester starts, but I am sure that the tweaking will continue, and I am also hoping that I can get better at tweaking without people feeling tweaked.
Soon, I am going to start experimenting with the practice of focusing on a different combination of teachers each week, studying their lessons, understanding their situations, and perhaps asking some follow-up questions and giving feedback. I am hoping that this, plus school visits, plus treating folks to coffee ends up being the optimal arrangement (given how limited our resources are at the management level).
Already, just looking at this first week of documentation flowing in, I can feel my understanding of each assignment -- and how radically different they are from each other -- expanding and expanding. I mean, I have done my best to educate myself about you guys, in the past, but experiencing this in real time, like this, is awesome! a whole new ballgame maybe. Perhaps even world class.

Hi Group!
Hi Everyone!
Just a blog test really, and to say that one lucky member each week will have an Action Bucket chosen by me for forwarding to Laurie and then on to bigger things.

Added a private collaboration tool.
And for those situations where you want to have your collaboration completely closed -- even to (sniff ... sniff) me -- I have embedded one more tool (www.liveminutes.com) at the bottom. This allows you to select any combination of people that you want to collaborate with. This is a free service that allows you to set up up to five different workspaces with different collaborative teams. It syncs with Evernote and Google, and if you want, it allows you to voice and video chat. So say you and one or two other teachers have something you would like to post on your group blog or enter into Workflowy, but would like to get each other's input on it first, here would be a secure environment in which to do that.
